Training
It has been the tradition of
SCCI Alphatrack
to develop young employees, normally of school leaving age with hands on field job training under the
direct supervision of our fully trained engineers, coupled with off-site training initiatives.
The training initiative allows new and existing employees to have technical and safety training through
the CAI accredited courses and also includes inductions, new technologies, software, administration
and business training.
All
SCCI Alphatrack
trainees are put on various health and safety courses within their training period from the essential
Working Safely at Heights and CSCS Test to First Aid at Work.
The majority of
SCCI Alphatrack
engineers have now passed the NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 requirements set by the RDI & CAI professional
bodies. Level 2 concerns itself with individual receiving systems i.e. installing aerials for TV, radio
and satellites and distributing those signals around the domestic building
Level 3 is for the more advanced systems engineers who install distribution systems in commercial buildings
or apartment blocks.
Without this high standard of training we would have been unable to gain our unique RDI status which
we are happy to announce that we were awarded in early 2010.
SCCI Alphatrack
also operate an in house E-Learning Platform for all employees covering:
-
Risk Assessments
-
Manual Handling
-
Asbestos Awareness
-
Driving Safely
-
Induction Safety
-
Fire Safety
-
First Aid
Engineers are also qualified in PASMA (training in the assembly, dismantling or alteration of Mobile
Access Towers and IPAF (platform operator training)
All the above training we believe is invaluable to our engineers for their safety and peace of mind
for our client base.
